Sarah Doyle and Isobelle Rose
Field Technicians
Isobelle: "I joined open eir five years ago as an apprentice and haven't looked back since. Working with a fantastic team, I've made many friends among my colleagues. Despite the weather, we take great pride in our work and always find time for a good laugh.
Every day is different, and starting the van in the morning brings a sense of excitement about what the day will hold. I meet new people daily, encountering friendly and remarkable colleagues and customers.
My time at this company has been incredibly rewarding, thanks to an excellent support network and invaluable education. I'm excited about what the future holds."
Sarah: " I joined open eir in November 2019 and completed a two-year apprenticeship. I wanted a job that provided hands-on experience while earning money, making this the perfect choice for me. Now, I am a qualified technician.
I enjoy working outdoors. Every job is different, offering a wide variety of work and opportunities to learn new skills. The customers are always happy to see you, and it's rewarding to know you've put a smile on their faces.
The weather can be challenging, especially during stormy winters. However, there's no job I'd rather have in the summertime when you're up a pole and the sun is shining!
